Edward: Michelles's grey/black dress was from Oasis. At the end of filming we have a costume sale for cast and crew and anything not sold we hang onto or donate to charity - don;t worry, not a rude question at all!

The shorts were tiny, white and with pink sequins on them and they were absolutely gorgeous! Where do you also tend to look for other clothes she wears? Are there particular shops you goto?

The skirt's from Top shop but you can make your own if you like: hack off a pair of old jeans as high as you dare and then cover randomly with sequins...

I only ever wear one pair of earrings. They are a little pair of bluebirds that I can’t bear to be parted from, I might mix in a badge or a claw (badge’s make the best earrings) but it’s all about the bluebirds… I even have three as I bought a replacement pair when I lost one!

I’m not the only one with something I wear constantly; my friend Jorge can be heard all over the house because of the six or eight silver bangles clinking on her forearm…

There’s also a little silver ring she wears around the tip of her index finger which is just too cool... It seems most people have a little idiosyncrasy in terms of what they wear. Its like noticing someone in a suit who’s wearing silly pants, not that underwear counts as something you always wear - no-one admits to wearing the same pants all the time… Except Couch who has discovered all possible ways to wear his boxers so that they last for about a week.
So this is my new theory – everyone has something that they wear constantly for some personal reason. And I want to be nosy and know what they are….

P.S. Wedding rings and allergy bracelets are cheating! Also festival bands everyone's got one and they all kind of smell...

This week I've been up and down the Portobello Road to see if I could get the girls out there showing off their style...

This is the lovely Emily who looked cute as a button in her forest green, wool felt coat; the oversized buttons give a real doll-like look, especially with the princess collar and who doesn’t love covered buttons?

Her socks match her coat, peeping out from those timeless black skinnies and white plimsolls and the scarf is a great colour. Along with the coat and hat it tops off the cutesy/indie impression.

But it’s all about the lime green lunchbox style satchel, I reckon it’s the start of the ‘new evacuee’ look and you saw it here first...

So I had my coat nicked... who steals someone’s coat off the back of their chair when she’s busy talking?

A Thursday night does not usually include petty theft. More often it's Trinity plus sweaty indie and a chance to see Couch in skinny leather trousers (which seem to bring out the undead-spirit of Nikki Sixx, which my adored leather-effect skinnys do not).

So now cold nights out mean a bobble hat, liquid eye-liner, and no lovely, tartan, wool over-garment! There's something else I miss: my web-piercing. It is now lost to me forever since my hand decided it didn't like it. Probably for the best; it didn’t really help with working my sewing machine...

Anyway, back to my coat. Any ideas?
