So after a mere 3 days I was ready to move on from previously mentioned t junction, and- as if god himself was listening- I got one... in a castle... with its own ghosts... and a dead mans house in the grounds. So, yeah- I dont do things by halfs!
In other news I am currently stookied up from op last Monday- oh the joys of having a screw stuck in your wrist. The one upside is you get to choose the colour of your cast. The bad news is- its 6 weeks of having to colour co ordinate. Yes, shallow!
Has inspired me to dress up like a robot on my birthday :D Well I am a cyborg you know!

Yes, I did it! I got a job.
Granted it was the most surreal way to get a job- my sister emailed me the vacancy from the website on Friday, I emailed my application form at 8pm, I got an email back at 10pm asking me to attend an interview on Monday, I went to the interview and basically I had already got the job. The manager asked me questions and if I didn't know them she would just tell me the answer- which was nice of her!
So- I am now an official employee of the SYHA! For those of you who dont know, they run Youth Hostels across Scotland and I shall be spending my days in Crianlarich.... which is basically a glorified T junction.
Honestly have a look; http://www.undiscoveredscotland.co.u...
There's only so much you can say about this place before- well before you really dry up. I mean come on- have a look at the website. There are 10 small pictures of the sights of the village- and two of them are the Village Hall! But if you want to have more of a gander at my actual place of work; http://www.crianlarichyouthhostel.or...
Not bad huh? Its rather homey, I get my own room (which apparently Im allowed to paint- seriously more excited about that than anything else) and well some of the most beautiful views are just on my doorstep. Sure my phone has no signal, I have to use a coin operated internet, I have to share the TV in the common room, share the showers, share the toilets, there is a curfew of 11:45pm, the 'Things to see and do' include; go to church (only every other Sunday) or kick about in one of the two pubs (yes, things are looking up). There is a shop a stones throw away from the hostel and I saw that it was suitable stocked with enough alcohol- just incase.
As you can see there is a slight panic just now- Im only going to be working 30 hours and my manager said we could go on a little shopping trip to Oban if we both get a day off together (she is sweet)- so it could be a great experience. Im going to be spending my Summer as close to the great outdoors, just shy of sleeping under stars, I'll be meeting people from all over the world who have come to enjoy the beauty of my country! And most of all- I'll be getting paid.
My only concern is that I shall have to suffer the tamest 21st ever! :(

Skins party tonight- have been bothering Donna on her work email all day, am most excited! Ha!
The main topic of discussion is what to wear. So am currently packing my bag and ready to sift through D's mountainous pile of handbags and gladrags... I mean honestly between us we could dress for any occassion; gladitorial battle, medieval banquet, 1920's jazz night... but when it comes to trying to pull together an outfit that doesn't look like we have stepped off a film set (that may lack a little bit of authenticity) we have a little difficulty.
Meh! Ach, let's see how it goes.
Anwyays- see you later folks!
Ciao for now x

So, just kicking about online with some Death Note on in the background... I have no idea why I am inclined to have that on instead of actual background music- how can I possibly follow a storyline when Im typing away furiously about a completely different subject... but I digress!
Anyway yes, I remembered that my good friend Donna Dessert (not actual surname but boy is she sweet) booked us tickets to the Skins Party and I havent even begun to think about what to wear... I sound like Im back and school and that kind of thing matters again- ha ha... but really I see it as another perfect excuse to dress to the nines and dance like no ones watching! I can't wait. So needless to say I have been distracting D. on her work email all morning brainstorming and I thought I'd give her a break and create a profile on here.
... well its breaks up the monotony of a Monday doesn't it?
