Left Hand Red are well-established around the Brighton live music circuit, having featured at most of the city's major venues along with live appearances on Brighton's Juice FM and BBC Radio in the past few months. We also hosted our very own 200+ sell-out event at Brighton's popular Pressure Point venue just last month. Hot on the heels of our New Year demo release, The Voyeur EP, Left Hand Red have hit the studio to record their latest demo, the Transition EP. The new tracks have been recorded with Brighton cohort Ali Gavan, who has previously worked and played with Electric Soft Parade amongst others, and the end product is a top-drawer studio recording that still retains the menacing live rawness of the band. There is a lot to be discovered and relished on the new E.P. 'Transition' is strewn with attacking riffs and sharp vocals revealing a darker side to Left Hand Red, 'A Life In Paradise' continues in a similar vein as a ferocious indie-rock rude awakening, whereas 'Shopaholic' shows a more conventional poppy side to the band whilst losing none of their rock-punk edge The new tracks are now up on our MySpace site, www.myspace.com/lef thandred
