Jasmin - I'm sorry you didn't get a reply to your email - we do get thousands and it just isn't possible to reply to every single one. We are giving people the opportunity to be in the show but over 13,000 people have auditioned so far and as much as we'd like to, we can't fit you all in the show. But we will keep trying to see as many of you as we can so keep smiling - it's only just started!

If we see people from further afield than Bristol we get into difficulty. This is because we need to know that we have a very large number of people that can come in on very short notice. If not it makes life really, really difficult when people can;t show up, trains are cancelled, etc. etc. We just can't leave things to chance...

The Music Video is in Place of the Birmingham party Video - mainly becasue it was a pretty big undertaking... The video and label page launch on wednesday!

I'm gonna bore you with some maths now... 3 people out of 800 party and email auditions made it to the final callbacks. You may think that is very few. However, only 47 from 12,000 in the open auditions got through Do the sums and you'll find that the ratio is about the same. I know it seems like the number is very small but it is also very real. This isn't x factor or big brother - We are casting the stars of the next series of Skins and it is a big, big deal. Everything rests on who we pick. We haven't tried to sugar coat the process or mislead anyone about the odds of getting in. We genuinely saw as many people as we could and gave them all a chance. We watched every party audition and we picked our three very carefully and all of them did extremely well. Theo should be proud of himself and we are proud of him as we are of Gemma and Leanne, the other two from the party auditions. Over the coming weeks you will get to see the entire process on this site as well as have the opportunity to find out about the new characters, question the writers and get a level of access to a show that is in production that has never been allowed before. I, for one, think this is great. I'd like to hear what you feel too. This is, after all, your site. Tell me what you want...

Okay - people asking questions about the party auditions. We are watching all of the party auditions when all of the parties are finished. This includes emailed auditions from people that went to the party and wanted to participate in this way. If you have emailed the address you were told to at the party just be patient. You will be sent your instructions in due course! Best of luck to everyone... Tx
