I loved all your ideas, but being skint and having already bought a few coats to replace the one that some bastard from hell nicked, I have simply had a bit of a tailoring session. I took and lovely coat that wasn't quite right and shortened it into something a bit sharper and more exciting. Keep the ideas going though coz they're so good!!!! hope you dont think I butchered my jacket... susie q xxx

    Loving the buttons on the collar look. I love over-sized cuffs, so thumbs up on them. The dangly thingy at the front adds a nice flow aswell, seen as the rest of the coat has quite straight lines.

    Nice one, looks like herringbone from what I can see as well which is usually a good thing. Was it longer, or did you just tailor it in the waist?

    Love it, although, the only thing I would change is having coloured buttons, to give it a bit of "PEZZAZZ!" Maybe that's just me and my strange strange need for colour in everything!
