Hi guys. I think I should probably intoroduce myself seeing as I'll probably be on this site alot... So this is me, for anyone who might be interested: My name is Hollie and I am 17. I live in Northern Ireland, which sucks, because nothing interesting ever really goes on here. Sure theres a few gigs here and there(ALL over 18), a couple of clubs and bars, but to be honest I want to be somewhere where something is actually happening and constantly evolving - i'd love to live in a bigger city where fashion, music and sytle is more diverse, widespread and appreciated. Music: Alexisonfire, Elliot Smith, Modest Mouse, Justice, Drop Dead Gorgeous, Enter Shikari, The Wombats, Foals, The Beatles, Crystal Castles, DJ Shadow, Good Shoes, Kings Of Leon, Nada Surf, Pendulum, The Shins, Taking Back Sunday, The Ting Tings, Vampire Weekend, Uffie, City and Colour... to name but a few. I am not a photographer, nor have I ever had any photographic training, but I would say it was an intrest of mine. I'd also say I was half decent at it, as I've been asked to shoot band photos and have had recognition for my pics =) I live on a hill with my family, 2 cats and a donkey. I go to a pretty average grammar school in a pretty average large town. I have a wonderful boyfriend whom I love very much. We are compared to James and Alice from Hadouken! I study Moving Image Arts (Like Film Studies) English Literature and ICT. I always read Alternative Ulster (iheartau.com). I'm always trying to find new sounds. I like going to the local independant cinema. I work as a swimming teacher, and also in a bakery. I am constantly searching for new styles and ideas. I thrive on interesting people and things. It would be my dream to be featured in Style magazine, just for being cool. I like my hair big and my clothes tight. I love Skins not because of the party hard lifestyle - more of the imagery and themes and styles featured every week. Sids breakdown to Crystal Castles was incredable! I also like it because I feel cool when I know the bands they are talking about =). Anyway, I'd love to get invloved in anything media-like to do with... well, E4 or Channel 4 in general, especially all the music side. However, living on a bloody rock which has no character and barely any culture could be a bit of a problem. =( Thats my introduction / rant over, because now I have to go back to class. You should be seeing a lot more of me about these pages! I'm also very friendly so say hello!
